By accessing or using the Recovery Tracker service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Service Description

Recovery Tracker is a post-surgical patient recovery monitoring platform that enables:

  • Daily health assessment tracking
  • Medication and care schedule reminders
  • Communication between patients and healthcare providers
  • Recovery progress monitoring
  • Educational resources and support

SMS Messaging Program

Program Description

By enrolling in Recovery Tracker, you consent to receive SMS text messages from your healthcare provider, including but not limited to:

  • Account activation and setup instructions
  • Daily recovery check-in reminders
  • Medication schedule reminders
  • Appointment notifications
  • Health alerts and important care instructions
  • Order confirmations and shipment updates for recovery supplies

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your recovery timeline and provider settings. You may receive up to 5 messages per day during active recovery periods.

Message & Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. Recovery Tracker does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may.

How to Opt-Out

You can opt-out of SMS notifications at any time by:

  • Text STOP to any message you receive from Recovery Tracker
  • Contacting your healthcare provider directly
  • Adjusting notification preferences in your account settings

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent unless you re-enroll.

Supported Carriers

Our SMS service works with all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most regional carriers. If you experience delivery issues, please contact your carrier or our support team.

User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate health information in your daily assessments
  • Keep your contact information up to date
  • Notify your healthcare provider of any concerning symptoms immediately
  • Follow the care instructions provided by your surgical team
  • Use the Service only for its intended purpose of recovery tracking
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials

Important Notice

Recovery Tracker is a monitoring and communication tool. It does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • This Service is not a substitute for professional medical care
  • Always follow your healthcare provider's instructions
  • In case of emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room
  • For urgent medical concerns, contact your surgical team directly
  • The AI chat assistant provides general information only, not medical advice

HIPAA Compliance

Recovery Tracker is designed to comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Your protected health information (PHI) is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We maintain Business Associate Agreements with all third-party service providers who handle PHI.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain 24/7 service availability, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance
  • Technical issues
  • Factors beyond our control (network outages, carrier issues)

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Recovery Tracker are owned by Recovery Tracker and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recovery Tracker and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to medical outcomes, data loss, or service interruptions.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you:

  • Violate these Terms & Conditions
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Use the Service for unauthorized purposes
  • Engage in abusive or disruptive behavior

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting your healthcare provider or our support team.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
